Provides skills to work safely with and inspect electrical appliances. For those using the testing devices in inspections and testing and tagging portable electrical equipment. The content is covered using a hands-on approach and practical exercises.

- OH&S standards and Testing procedures - insulation resistance and earth continuity
- Basic electrical theory understanding voltage values, surge arrestors, flexible cords and powerboards
- The ability to identify common cable types and develop basic skills in testing and tagging using multimeters
