Essential Knowledge

 

 

If you work in the hazardous areas industry you will need essential knowledge in electrical classification, zoning, protection techniques, dossiers and related documentation and inspections.

Victoria University has specialist training against national competencies for work in hazardous areas

 

What COURSES are AVAILABLE?
  • For electrical and instrumentation trades in hazardous areas:
    • Install, maintain and service electrical equipement in hazardous areas (5 days)
    • Maintain and service equipement in hazardous areas (2 days)
    • Installation and wiring in hazardous areas (2 days)
  • For supervisors of trades working in hazardous areas:
    • Visual inspection of electrical equipment in hazardous areas (1 day)
  • Other offerings:
    • Refresher courses (recommended every two to three years)
    • On-site customised courses available on demand.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
  • On completion of the relevant course you will be issued with a Certificate of Attainment and competency card..
